Direct Feedback Marketing Services was established in 1986 and has risen to become Pittsburgh's premier research focus group and quantitative survey call center. Formerly an operating unit of The Henley Group the firm became independent in the late 1990's.

The company is headquartered in historic Station Square which has all the amenities of travel lodging, restaurants and entertainment. After five years of continous improvements such as new computer networks and call center communications systems, Direct Feedback was voted one of the best facilities in the world by Impulse Survey of Focus Group Facilities. It won again the following year in 2005.

In addition to installing new video/audio recording and DVD equipment, the company also purchased Active Group capabilities so that out of town clients can remote view focus groups without ever having to leave their corporate headquarters. Visiting clients also have the option of using the Direct Feedback DSL/wireless web with their laptops.
