Travers, Programmer TARA HILL CONROY Moderator Tara Hill Conroy is a founder and Director of Operations of Direct Feedback, Inc. Ms. Conroy has over 10 years' experience in financial services, marketing research, shareholder relations and teleservices. She has been involved in a wide variety of major corporate and restructuring transactions, and has developed marketing research programs in connection with new product development, customer satisfaction and lead generation. She has worked with major U.S. companies including Arthur Andersen Business Consulting, Fisher Scientific International Inc., McDonald's Corporation and Waste Management, Inc. Ms. Conroy is responsible for client management, survey design, methodology, focus group moderating and report writing. Ms. Conroy earned a Bachelor of Science Degree in Administrative Management from Robert Morris College and a Master of Arts Degree in Corporate Communication from Duquesne University. Ms. Conroy also attended the RIVA Market Research Training Institute for focus group moderators, as well as various training programs in marketing research. Ms. Conroy is a member of the Qualitative Researchers Consultants Association and the American Marketing Association. Her client list for focus group moderating includes Document Design International, Parknavy Advertising, includes The Pittsburgh Post-Gazette, Royal Insurance, and Yearick/Millea. Research #topics ranged from new product development to customer satisfaction in both consumer and business markets. BACK TO TOP Kevin Edwards Project Manager Mr. Edwards is responsible for managing both quantitative and qualitative research projects for Direct Feedback in the consumer and business-to-business markets. His responsibilities also include client relationship management, new business development, client consultation, project coordination/management, questionnaire design, data tabulation, project reporting and report writing. Prior to joining Direct Feedback, Kevin has over 15 years experience in market research. His career in market research has included employment with M/A/R/C Inc. of Dallas, TX and Campos Inc. of Pittsburgh, PA. His past experience includes data processing, cross-tabulations, and project management. Kevin earned
a degree in Business from University of Kentucky.
President Direct Feedback Patrick Wood is a seasoned professional in the areas of marketing research, strategic planning and brand positioning having worked in various capacities in consumer packaging, retail and business-to-business. He has spent over a decade moderating focus groups for both agencies and companies alike with such names as Nestle, SunMaid, Mellon Financial, UPMC, Respironics, Citizens Bank and Stouffer’s. His unique style of facilitating is to make respondents comfortable in an open and respectful environment so that true perceptions and feelings about the issues being explored are forthcoming. Prior to the focus groups, he learns the objectives of the project in a briefing with the client team so that the post session report on key findings and implications are meaningful, relevant and actionable. Prior to becoming President of Direct Feedback Inc., Patrick spent over 12 years in the agency business at Leo Burnett, Della Femina and Ketchum. During this time, he rose through the ranks of client service to Vice President Management Supervisor and headed the strategic planning for all Ketchum offices throughout the United States. He worked on such brands as Nestea, Revlon Beauty Aids, Heinz 57 Sauce, and Lean Cuisine. In conjunction with his professional service in the field of marketing communications, Wood served as an adjunct professor at Duquesne University teaching in the Graduate Communications Program. At that time, he became the Director of the Entrepreneurial Marketing Assistance Program and consulted with small businesses and start-ups in addition to hosting seminars in guerrilla marketing and communications. Patrick earned his M.A. in a two-year program at the University of Notre Dame after graduating Cum Laude from Saint Norbert College. His academic record is distinguished—including election into Who’s Who in American Colleges and Universities and into the Phi Delta Epsilon National Honorary Society. Sherri
Mignella
Sherri has over 10 years of experience in marketing research and communications. She started her career working in marketing communications and then migrated to the research field. Her past experience ranges from accounting, report writing, database management and mailing services. Sherri
earned a BSBA in Accounting and a minor in Marketing from Duquesne University.
Allison
Saeler Ms. Saeler is responsible for the interviewing, hiring, and training of the Call Center personnel, as well as on-going monitoring for quality control. In addition, she is responsible for the daily management of the qualitative and quantitative research projects, project tracking, and maintaining Direct Feedback’s consumer database. Allison is a graduate of the
University of Pittsburgh with a BS in Biological Sciences. Ms. Saeler
has extensive research experience through independent and dependent university
funded research.
Bruce
E. Travers Mr.
Travers is trained in both C-Survent and C-Mentor programming, designed
by Computers for Marketing Corporation. Bruce is a 1988 graduate of Geneseo
State University (NY) with a degree in communication. In addition, he
is a 1991 graduate of Brockport State University (NY) with a certification
to teach high school mathematics.
